1920s FLAPPER LONG WEDDING DRESS BLUSH PINK & NET OVERLAY PLUS ACCESSORIES

Description

This lovely wedding dress from the 1920s has been beautifully preserved over the years and comes with its matching cape and a crocheted cloche. The dress fabric of blush pink appears to be satin, and the overlay dress, in a delicate tea-color with a hint of pink, is made of a fine net with tiny dots. The pink dress is strapless, and the overlay dress has a scooped neck in the front and back, slightly puffed sleeves, straight lines to about the thigh, and tiers of ruffles on the gradually widening skirt. The net cape is sleeveless and ties in the front as a light cover for the shoulders and neck. No labels. Appears to be a small size in full length. The approximate straight line dress measurements are bust of about 30+” and waist of about 28+”; total length of the dress, from shoulder to bottom hem, is about 60+”. Condition is very good for age. A small, pulled hole below the three-snap closure on the left side of the dress can be easily repaired; slight stains on the net, puffed sleeves. The beautiful, small to medium sized, ecru cloche is crocheted silk in a charming 1920s pattern that features decorative rosettes. These family heirlooms were packed away together in a private collection and are seeking a home where their beauty will be appreciated!
