Description

This is a 100 year old Taisho era
antique Japanese miniature girls day mirror tansu and stand.  It is made of Japanese sugi (cryptomeria) wood.   It has 3 drawers of various sizes as well as an adjustable mirror.
All of the black lacquer sides are embellished with gold paintings of peony and other flowers.
All drawers open and close smoothly.  The mirror tilts forward and back easily. The black lacquer finish and hand painted gold designs are in very good condition.  Having been in storage for a century, this mirror stand
chest remains in
very fine
original antique
condition.
