Venus Fly Trap 'Dente'
Information below is only the potential the plant has. Each listing is for one plant. The "starter plant" you are buying is one plant actively growing in a 1.5 inch deep pot and is smaller than the plant pictured.
The Dente fly trap has unique saw-like or tooth-like edges on the trap margins. It has hinged leaves with three or four sensitive hairs in the center of each lobe. When an insect touches the hairs, the hinge mechanism is triggered, and the leaves close rapidly to trap the insect.
Average mature height: Under 6 inches
Light: Full to part sun
Soil: Grows well in peat, peat/perlite, or sphagnum moss (Try ours here.) Place a tray of water underneath to keep the plant wet.

We will send replacement plants if damaged. Make sure to check temperatures because we do not guarantee plants shipped to cold places.
SPECIAL WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS.
Many plants go dormant in the cold/dark months and we may ship plants while they're dormant. However, the plants are still alive; they're just working on their root systems. It is normal and healthy for plants to go dormant. It helps ensure they have a long, happy and healthy life. If you receive a plant without leaves, or a pot of dirt, don't worry. Your plant is just dormant and will show new growth in the warmer spring months. If you're not sure if your plant is dormant, message us and send a picture.
CHECKOUT.
Do not leave notes or special requests on your payment as we will NOT see them. If you have questions or a request, please message us directly.
