True vintage 1950s net lace crumb catcher bodice princess wedding dress clean XS

Description

Beautiful mid century vintage wedding dress. Iconic 50's style fashioned from tulle and net over taffeta. A soft shade of white- the lace is slightly off white. It features a crumb catcher bodice, short sleeves, lace applique accents and a full skirt. Shown photographed as it comes, without a crinoline underneath- fullness achieved by layers: taffeta then 2 layers of net topped with tulle. Basque waist. Metal zipper back. Chapel length train.
Measurements: For reference, shown photographed on a mannequin with bust ( padded to) 35/ waist 24/ hips 35. Compare with your own measurements and allow for desired ease.
Bust: 36"
Waist area: 26" measured 7" below the armpit
Hips: open
Shoulder to hem in the front: 60". Taffeta underlayer is narrow hemmed. Net is simply cut/ unfinished.
Waist area to back of train in the back: 67" = chapel train
Condition: The is in overall very good vintage condition. As found, it was rather dirty/ discolored. I soaked it ( bathtub and Biz + Oxyclean ) air dried and it is vastly improved. Some discoloration remains here and there on the taffeta layer underskirt- nothing that detracts. There are some small holes in the taffeta layer underskirt, some holes in the net skirt, and holes as seen in the photos on the sleeve tops and on the bodice. ( I placed black underneath for the photos to make them more visible )  The net is fraying along the edge of the zipper. Underarms are clean. Dress is clean and wearable.
