    Description

    BRIDAL SALE!
Lovely Vintage Ivory Lace & Tulle Wedding Gown Size 2/4
Beautiful ivory net lace features a bow motif, please see the lace detail photos.
The lace panels are purposely split at the center front and back.
Lace covered buttons and loops adorn each pointed sleeve.
The net lace is underlined with tissue taffeta, directly in the bodice and under a layer of white tulle net and then a layer of white tulle ruffle. There is no other lining, so this gown would be easy to alter for a perfect fit.
Good pre-owned vintage condition!    Only 1 available!

Approximate measurements of the gown from the

    *:
*Thus the need for smaller measurements for ease.
    Bust: 34.5"
    Waist: 26.25"
    Hip: 34+"
(Full ball gown skirt so there's more room)
    Front total length: 57"
    Back total length: 59.25"
    Front bodice length: 16.5"
Front bodice bottom to hem: 40.5"
Back bodice bottom to hem: 42"
    Back bodice length: 17.25"

    (FYI, Display mannequin measures 34"x 25"x 33")
I would suggest that your bust measurement should be 34" or less
and that your waist should be 25" or less as these vintage garments are very delicate.
So although it has a sturdy metal zipper you would not want it to be tight or you risk tearing the fabric.
FYI, that is apparently what happened to the right sleeve.  Thankfully it is torn right at the seam.  I would suspect maybe someone picked it up by the sleeves and had the whole weight of garment hanging by that delicate net lace instead of the hanging loops. It would be easy to fix with some hand stitching, but shouldn't be done until the final alterations.
    Color: Ivory & White tulle
This is a lovely vintage gown!  It's very pretty in person!
It could be worn with a hoop skirt or full crinoline for a fuller skirt.
The gown is shown as is with nothing other than it's attached petticoats.
I am storing it flat in a garment bag and would suggest it be stored that way as well until it's time for it's trip down the aisle. It's much less stressful on garments and there's no way for the lace to stretch out that way.
As is is an old vintage garment made from net lace, tulle and tissue taffeta it is fairly stiff as one would expect.
